- TWG2: Food processing, with the topic for this year: “Processing of small scale traditional agrofood products”;
- TWG3: Rural Development with the topic for this year: “Rural tourism – challenges and perspectives”.
The three meetings of the TWGs, held in the form of workshops, were organised in December 2018, January and February 2019 respectively, where the participants discussed the critical issues and main problems on their specific topics; presented the results of the analysis of the existing situation in the respective field, shared views and opinions on problems and obstacles and provided recommendations for the final reports. Each Thematic Working Group has been led by an expert recruited by TA to ENPARD project.
The main objective of the Conference was to present to the decision-makers, implementers and the general public the conclusions of the Thematic Working Groups on the specific topics.
The creation of the National Rural Network is a collaborative action between two projects both financed by the European Union Delegation in Moldova: “Technical Assistance for the implementation of the Sector Reform Contract: European Neighborhood Programme to Agriculture and Rural Development (ENPARD)” and “Facilitating active engagement of the civil society actors in the agro-rural policy dialog”.
The beneficiary of both projects is the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment (MARDE).
